Five-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Cybersecurity (March 16–20, 2026)
The FDP aims to provide comprehensive exposure to contemporary cybersecurity concepts through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on sessions. The programme will broadly cover:
- System fundamentals and virtualization
- Cybersecurity frameworks and attack matrices
- Network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs
- Web and mobile application security
- Cloud security and data centre security
- Network analysis and monitoring (Wireshark, NMAP)
- Cryptography, digital certificates, and cryptographic attacks
- Secure coding practices and vulnerability scanning tools (Burp Suite, Nikto, WPScan, etc.)
